1. Agreement to these Terms

By accessing or using Free BGRemover, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. “Free BGRemover,” “we,” “us,” and “our” mean the operator of this website.

2. The service

Free BGRemover provides a browser-based tool that uses an AI model to remove the background from supported image files and produce a transparent PNG. The current free flow accepts JPG, PNG, and WebP files up to 15 MB and does not require an account. The service may change, be interrupted, or be discontinued at any time.

3. Your content and permissions

You keep ownership of the images and other content you submit. You grant us the limited permission necessary to process your content solely to provide the service to you. You represent that you own the content or have all permissions needed to upload, process, download, and use it.

Do not submit content that is unlawful, infringing, deceptive, harmful, sexually exploitative, or otherwise violates another person’s rights. Do not use Free BGRemover to process personal data without a lawful basis or required consent.

4. Acceptable use

You may use Free BGRemover only in compliance with applicable law and these Terms. You may not interfere with the service, bypass usage or security controls, attempt to reverse engineer the service except where law permits, use automated means to overload it, or use the output to violate another person’s rights.

5. AI output

Background removal is automated. Results can contain errors, especially around hair, thin edges, reflections, shadows, small gaps, or low-contrast areas. You are responsible for reviewing each result before using it. Free BGRemover does not guarantee that any output will be accurate, complete, suitable for a particular purpose, or free from third-party rights.

6. Intellectual property

Free BGRemover, its design, software, and other service materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws and remain our or our licensors’ property. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for its intended purpose.

7. Third-party services

The service may rely on third-party software, content-delivery, hosting, or technical providers. Those services may be subject to their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services that we do not control.

8. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Free BGRemover is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. We do not warrant uninterrupted, secure, or error-free operation.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Free BGRemover and its affiliates, owners, employees, and licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunity arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim related to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim or USD $100.

10. Indemnity

You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Free BGRemover and its affiliates, owners, employees, and licensors from claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses arising from your content, your misuse of the service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

11. Governing law and disputes

To the extent permitted by applicable law, these Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to them are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any action or proceeding arising from these Terms or the service must be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to their personal jurisdiction and venue, unless applicable law requires another forum.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms by posting an updated version and changing the “Last updated” date.
